ORGANIZATION On Sunday 17 December 2017 the Sport Association Maratoneti Cittadellesi (PD190), with the approval of the Regional Committee F.I.D.A.L., organizes the 6th Memorial “Lino Pasquale”, national road race, over a distance of 21,097 Km half marathon.
COURSE FEATURES The male and female competition takes place on a course distance of km 21,097 homologated by FIDAL. The path will be closed to vehicular traffic and will wind through the streets of downtown; every side street and intersection will be manned by the municipal police, law enforcement and volunteers involved in the course who will forbid anyone to pass along the pathe with bicycles, motorcycles and any other vehicles. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS Based on the provisions of the “rules for the Organization of events” issued by FIDAL, the participation to the 12nd edition of the Half Marathon of Città Murata, is allowed only to athletes of at least 18 years of age (thousandth of age) registered in Italy holding one of the following requirements: • membership card holders for 2017 for associations affiliates to FIDAL; • Athletes possessing nominative Runcard which can be subscribed on line in FIDAL webpage (www.fidal.it and/or www.runcard.com Committee 120 Veneto code, valid as sport insurance and permission to compete), limited to people from 20 years onwards. Participation is still subject to: a) submission of a valid Medical Certificate of Sports Fit for Athleteics, which must be presented to the organizers in original and kept, in copy, in the acts of the organizing Association. The medical certificate may be issued to non-resident foreigners in their own country, but the same exams required by Italian law must have been made: a) medical examination; b) full examination of urine; c) electrocardiogram at rest and after exertion; d) spirography; b) check by the organizer of the validity of the Medical Certificate of Sports Fit for Athletics through the Runcard database or through the app downloaded on any electronic device. • Membership card holders for a Sport Promotion Institution (Sec. Athleteics) and in possession of Runcard-EPS. Participation is still subject to: a) presentation of a valid Medical Certificate of Sports Fit for Athletics, which must be presented to the organizers in original and kept, in copy, in the acts of the organizing Association. Non-resident foreigners must make the same exams required by Italian law; b) check by the organizer of the validity of a Medical Certificate of Sports Fit for Athletics through the database Runcard or through the app downloaded on any electronic device. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ATHLETEES NOT REGISTERED IN ITALY Italian/foreigner athletees not registered in Italy may participate, limited to people from 18 years onwards (thousandth of age) holding one of the following requirements: • athletes with club card affiliated to Foreign Federations of Athletics recognized by Iaaf. At the time of registration they must submit: Self certification of possession of card recognized by Iaaf. However, the self certification will then have to be signed at the time of withdrawal of the bib number; • Athletes possessing Runcard (valid as sports insurance and permission to compete), limited to people from 20 years onwards; besides the possession of “RUNCARD”, the participation is still subject to: a) or presentation of a valid Medical Certificate of Sports Fit for Athletics, which must be presented to the organizers in original and preserved, in copy, in the acts of the Association organizing each event. For non-resident foreigners the medical certificate may be issued in their own country, but the same exams required by Italian law must have been made: a) medical examination; b) full examination of urine; c) electrocardiogram at rest and after exertion; d) spirography; b) or check by the organizer of the validity of a Medical Certificate of Sports Fit for Athletics through the Runcard database or through the app downloaded on any electronic device. All athletes in possession of FIDAL, Runcard and Runcard-EPS must present membership card and original copy of the Medical Certificate of Sports Fit for Athletics in course of validity at the date of the event, in addition copy for the organizers, made by a sport Doctor or by a sports Medicine Center. This certificate must be attached to the enrollment and presented upon delivery of the bib number. N.B. Athletes resident in Veneto in possession of the Medical Certificate of Sports Fit for Athletics issued by an organization agreed upon the National Health Service, must validate the same certificate by the U.L.S.S. they belong to. FIDAL PARTICIPANT CATEGORIES * Male categories Juniores (JM 18-19) – Promises (PM 20-22) – Senior men: SM23-34 – SM35/40/45/50/55/60/65/70/75/80/85 and beyond; * Female categories Juniores (JF 18-19) – Promises (PF 20-22) – Senior women: SF23-34 – SF35/40/45/50/55/60/65/70/75/80/85 and beyond. REGISTRATION • Online on www.enternow.it – by Thursday 14 December 2017; • By Fax at +39 0415088344 – by Thursday 14 December 2017; • By E-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org – by Thursday 14 December 2017; • on site on Saturday 15/12/2017 afternoon from 15.00 to 19.00 and Sunday 17/12/2017 from 07.00 to 09.00 a.m.. For the purpose of identifying the registration fee it will be considered valid the date of accomplished payment, not the date of dispatch of the entry form. Registrations without the participation fee, without FIDAL card number or without a medical certificate in course of validity or with incomplete address or personal details, will not be accepted. Runners can verify their own registration on TDS Timing Data Service website (www.tds-live.com). Besides TDS will send to all regularly enrolled athletes a confirmation letter by e-mail; if your email address has not been indicated, the athlete will be able to download the letter of confirmation directly from TDS web site. REGISTRATION FEE The registration fee will increase based on the achievement of a predetermined threshold of entrants, according to the following scheme: • from 001 to 500 entrants, € 17,00; • from 501 to 1,000 entrants, € 21,00; • from 1.001 to 1,500 entrants, € 24,00; • from 1.501 to 2,000 entrants, € 26,00; • over 2.000 entrants and for ALL entries made on site by cash only Saturday 16.12.2017 and Sunday 17.12.2017, regardless of the threshold reached, € 30,00. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to close registration at the achievement of 2.500 entrants. The numerous associations will be given a free ticket for every ten athletes. This formula is valid for cumulative entries upon presentation of specific list, signed by the President of the Association and submitted within MONDAY 11 December 2017. REFUND OF THE REGISTRATION FEE Registration fees are non-refundable. However, the registered athletee who was unable to attend the 12th Half Marathon of Città Murata 2017, communicating his unavailability within and no later than THURSDAY 30 November 2017 and paying an additional fee of € 5,00 for secretarial expenses, may apply for the transfer of the registration fee to the 13th Half Marathon of Città Murata 2018, without possibility of further procastrination for the following year. The waiver of the transfer of the registration to the 13th Half Marathon Città Murata 2018 will result in loss of the entire amount paid. To transfer the registration to another athletee there is a charge of € 5,00 for secretarial expenses, such exchange will be possible within and no later than THURSDAY 30 November 2017. ASSIGNMENT of BIB NUMBERS – STARTING GRIDS/SECTORS Bib numbers will be assigned automatically based on the order of receipt of entries. The starting grids will be divided according to the following value group, based on the time indicated by the athletee at the time of enrollment: 1st grid – TOP RUNNER ATHLETES – BLUE bib; 2nd grid – ATHLETES with stated time until 1:32 ‘ – YELLOW bib; 3rd grid – ATHLETES with time declared over 1:32 ‘ – WHITE bib. ASSIGNMENT of REGISTRATION FEES Registration fees are contributions not subject to VAT in accordance with art. 4 second and sixth period DPR 633/72, and following amendments. The above contributions are aimed at the realization of the event object of this regulation in direct implementation of institutional purposes, pursuant to art. 2 paragraph 1 letter A B of GLGS° 460/97 and paragraph 3° art. 22 of TUIR. BIBS PICK UP The race bib is personal and cannot be transferred or exchanged. It must be positioned so as to be fully visible, cannot be bent and must remain intact. The envelope with the race number and chip may be picked up on FRIDAY 15/12/2017 at Discoteca Cittadellese in Piazza Martiri del Grappa n. 1 from 16:00 to 20:00, SATURDAY 16/12/2017 from 15.00 to 19.00 and SUNDAY 17/12/2017 from 07.00 to 09.00 a.m. at the EXPO located in the parking of Villa Rina outside the city walls (Treviso gate). The collection of the bib must be accompanied by an identity document or a written mandate and a photocopy of the delegating party if you can’t collect it in person. It is not possible to deliver bibs by means of Associations mandates, but exclusively with personal mandate. TIMING The finishing order as provided by rule 165.24, will be established with the use of the transponder. Time measurement and processing of the rankings will be curated by Timing Data Service. For each athlete it will be detected time and position of official classification from the shot to the finish, validated by the Technical Judge Delegate/appeal Judge. The athletes who will not finish the race and who, for whatever reason, will not give back the “chip” at the end of the race, will have to send it to the Organizing Committee of the Half Marathon within 15 days, otherwise they will be obliged to pay € 20,00 as compensation. CONTROL POINTS Check points along the way will be prepared by TDS without warning. TIME LIMIT The maximum time to finish the race is set at 2:30 hours. After that limit the athletes will not be placed in the order of arrival and whoever is on the racetrack must respect the traffic regulations, after this time the Organization will not be able to guarantee the closing of the race course. GOODY BAG – PARTICIPATION FEE – SERVICES The goody bag with the TECHNICAL GADGET will be guaranteed to the first 2.200 subscribers. The participation fee includes: technical gadgets, various food items, medical assistance and insurance service, three food stops along the route, final refreshment upon arrival, medals for all finishers, timekeeping, diploma available from the TDS website. GOODY BAG PICK UP The goody bag will be delivered together with the race bib, STRICTLY on FRIDAY 15/12/2017 at Discoteca Cittadellese in Piazza Martiri del Grappa n. 1 from 16:00 to 20:00, SATURDAY 16/12/2017 from 15.00 to 19.00 and SUNDAY 17/12/2017 from 07.00 to 09.00 a.m. at the EXPO located in the parking of Villa Rina outside the city walls (Treviso gate). SAFEKEEPING OF BAGS with PERSONAL CLOTHING Inside the gym Mantegna, adjacent to the EXPO area of the parking Villa Rina, the athletee can deliver his bag with clothing to the employees responsible for the service within 09.30 a.m., after application of numbered sticker which will be delivered together with the race number. The bag will be returned at the end of the race, ONLY showing your race number. We recommend that you do not put in your personal bag any valuable objects and to limit the amount of clothing to the minimum necessary also for reasons of volume. PROHIBITIONS The course will be closed to vehicular traffic and every side street and intersection will be manned by volunteers, police and the municipal police and by path employees, that will forbid anyone to travel with bicycles, motorcycles and whatnot, along the route. Staff authorized to transit will be fitted with the appropriate official pass issued by the organization. AWARDS Award to the first 5 men and the first 5 women of the general classification. The prizes of the first 5 classified men and first 5 classified women, cannot be combined with CATEGORY rewards. PRIZE MONEY The total prize of the event amounts to € 4.380,00 and is divided as follows:
